Had no idea...

I seriously had no idea the bike could handle like that -- assuming years of experience help. I have the 2011 F650GS and it just feels so impossibly heavy (I am a new rider). While that's obviously not the normal use for the bike, it's nice to know it can take a beating.

Welcome to the forum Mike. It's didn't seem like more than riding the crappy roads around here-as far as the pounding goes. Most of the time they change the rear sprocket to around 60 teeth and from then on it guts vs gravity. Enjoy the forum. Gary
