BMW AWARDED TWO "MOST WANTED" AWARDS FOR 2007 FROM EDMUNDS.COM

3 and 5 Series Have Been Award Winners Every Year Since Awards Began
Woodcliff Lake, NJ - April 24, 2007... BMW was presented with two 2007 "Most Wanted" awards from Edmunds.com, the internet resource for consumer automotive information. The 2007 3 Series won for "Editors' Most Wanted" sedan under $35,000, while the 2007 5 Series was recognized as the "Editors' Most Wanted" sedan under $60,000.

The Edmunds editors, in announcing the 9th annual "Editors' Most Wanted" awards, said, "We eat, breathe and dream automobiles, and in many instances, this love for the car overruled common sense during our selection process. But that's the great thing about the Edmunds.com Editors' Most Wanted list: it's guided by passion, not science (much like the majority of car purchases). The result of our voting is a list of cars and trucks we'd want in our own garages".

In characterizing the 3 Series award, Edmunds.com said, "endowed with world-class suspension, steering and brake components, these cars have an ability to communicate with their drivers that is unmatched in the entry-level luxury class and, indeed, unmatched by most cars at any price."

For the 5 Series award, the Edmunds.com editors stated, "The BMW 5 Series has always impressed us with its luxury trappings in a true driver's car. No matter which engine you choose, you'll get a sedan that feels rock solid on the highway and nimble through tight turns. The 5 Series may not have every luxury feature imaginable, but it has all the features that count to us."

"We at BMW are committed to creating products that arouse passion", said Tom Purves, Chairman and CEO of BMW (US) Holding Corp., "and these outstanding accolades from the editors of Edmunds.com are evidence of our success."

2007 MINI COOPER AWARDED "MOST WANTED COUPE UNDER $30,000" BY EDITORS OF EDMUNDS.COM

All-New Model Comes Out on Top in its Segment
Woodcliff Lake, NJ - April 24th, 2007... Topping off its successful US market launch last month, the all-new MINI Cooper has been named by the Editors of Edmunds.com as "Most Wanted Coupe Under $30,000".

According to the Editors, the MINI Cooper's redesign helped it win, beating out others in its class: ÔÇ£Retaining the Cooper's beloved looks, baby has actually gotten better, as its classic styling and handling have been painstakingly preserved with welcome improvements appearing inside and underhood.ÔÇØ

In announcing the 9th annual ÔÇ£EditorsÔÇÖ Most WantedÔÇØ awards, the Edmunds Editors, said, ÔÇ£We eat, breathe and dream automobiles, and in many instances, this love for the car overruled common sense during our selection process. But that's the great thing about the Edmunds.com Editors' Most Wanted list: it's guided by passion, not science (much like the majority of car purchases). The result of our voting is a list of cars and trucks weÔÇÖd want in our own garagesÔÇØ.

ÔÇ£We are truly excited to receive this award from Edmunds.com for the all-new MINI CooperÔÇØ said Jim McDowell, Vice President, MINI USA. ÔÇ£The Editors of Edmunds.com are passionate and knowledgeable about cars and we are happy that they recognize all of the goodness that we have engineered into the new car while retaining its iconic characteristics.

The all-new MINI Cooper and Cooper S hardtops are built upon the design success of the first generation MINI models, offering go-kart like reflexes and the ability for customers to individualize their car. The most successful premium small car in the world has been completely redesigned - with new engines, interior and technology ÔÇô in a way that is evolutionary in its design, yet revolutionary in its substance. With a base MSRP of $18,700 and 40 MPG EPA highway mileage, the new MINI Cooper offers improved value and efficiency as well.

Wisconsin Rapids Area

Located in the geographic center of the state, the history of this trio of sister cities along the Wisconsin River is steeped in the paper and cranberry industries. The first paper mill in the area was built in 1831. Today, tours of the huge Stora Enso North America complex in downtown Wisconsin Rapids offer a close-up look at this paper industry giant. The Town of Cranmoor just west of Wisconsin Rapids is the home of some of the largest cranberry marshes in the country. Tours of Glacial Lake Cranberries are offered during the fall harvest. Eight miles north of Wisconsin Rapids, in Rudolph, the Dairy State Cheese Co. offers a look at another classic Wisconsin enterprise, cheese making. Rudolph is also the home of an intriguing chapter in Wisconsin folk art ÔÇô the Rudolph Grotto Gardens and Wonder Cave.
