During my trip from Surrey, BC to Ottawa, Ontario, my right side mirror on my 1986 k75 sustained 2 hits by nature's feathered friends. The result was the right side rs mirror cracked on the first hit and flew off on I94 in Montana somewhere near Livingstone. Who would believe that both hits took out/popped off my right side mirror? What are the chances?
Equally unbelievable is that BMW parts dealer from Max BMW, A&S, as well as Shops I located online in Europe are sold out of the stupid lens and all are reporting back order from BMW. I am forced to riding with the amber 3m tape over my mirror housing since October and am now reaching out to members to see if anyone by chance have one kicking around they would like to sell? I've also been watching eBay worldwide but k100rs mirrors have been rare sightings.
