Great ride outside San Diego

This here flatlander guy from Michigan had a great ride Sunday.

Although it was a group ride (San Diego BMW Owners Group) (New Owner and Visitor ride), it was great.
Really experience some of the canyons of south California.

My complements to T. Edward Bell for his great lead.

Being a group ride I didn't get an pictures.

Ride consisted of
- a bit on highway "just to get there"
- Dehesa Rd
- Japutal Rd
- Japutal Valley Rd
- and then somehow we got to Sunrise Highway (S1)
- into Julian somehow
- M78 for a while
- Highland Valley Road
and that was pretty much end of the ride for lunch

Note: Is a good map of roads in area on SD BMW Owners Group website.
SOme roads on the maps are marked Tight, Twisty & Treacherous.
Route we took, listed above, does not include any of those.
