310gs soft bags?

On my 310gs I have the Scorpion exhaust. Just returned from a two day ride, during which I tried some Dryspec rackless bags. Today, while not actually touching the tailpipe, the heat from the exhaust itself melted the bag and some contents ☹️. Does anyone have a higher-than-stock pipe, and successfully running soft bags that you’d recommend? Thx

I have a Giant Loop bag on my CB500X. Not for commuting.

I have the Shad Terra soft bags with the 3P mounting system mounted on my 2022 310GS.

It is less than clear from their web site that the 3P mounting system, Terra Bags and the 310 GS go together, but they do.

I thought I would keep these on the shelves until a trip but I have not taken them off, great for shopping.

Easy off if you want it and the mounting system is not as big as the Terra Bag system for other bikes.

Have you tried any of those heat shields that Giant Loop and Mosko make? They're held on by oversized hose clamps. I used to have two on the pipes of my old DRZ400.
