    Removing factory side stand on '93 R100RS

    Have the Farley sidestand mounted. Attempting to remove factory self folding stand. Have return springs off stand however, there is a stop plate which will not allow stand to slide off. Is it necessary to slide front engine mount bolt enough that plate can be removed or slide out of way so...

    side stand removal

    Just lowered my 2014 RT one inch with the Tractive shocks from the Beemer Shop. I need to shorten the side stand and need instructions on removing it. Also, how much should it be shortened? Appreciate any advice.
