    Tire Pressure Monitor

Front tire pressure monitor on my 2016 RT lit up on dashboard a few months ago. Checked PSI and around 32 but monitor in computer had no PSI reading. Same happened 3 weeks ago and adjusted PSI to 38psi. Saturday same thing and PSI was at 38psi. I hate these things, had issues with them in my...

    Tire Pressure Monitor

I own a R1250gs. The tire pressure listed on the back of the owners manual states my front tire should be inflated to 36.3 psi and my rear tire to 42.1 psi. I have a pretty expensive digital tire pressure gage and I monitor my tire pressure to make sure they agree with the recommended...

    Tire Pressure Sensor Battery Failure?

The rear tire pressure sensor on my 2014 R1200GS with 36,000 miles now only works intermittently, setting the warning yellow triangle when it quits. The front tire pressure sensor works all the time. The rear sensor often reads correctly at the start of a ride and then fails later. My guess...

Hi Fellow BMW Hex and Cam heads, I have just been reviewing the FOBO Tyre Pressure sensors for bike riders. Have any of you got these on-board and what do you think?? Can TPMS be retrofitted?

I have an 07 RT and I'm wondering if the TPMS can be retrofitted on it. If not, are there any good 3rd party solutions? Too bad I only have a ZUMO 350. There is a Garmin TPMS but it works with the 390 unit and not the 350.

    Michelin P4 GT tire pressure(s)

I have a 2012 R1200RT with the new P4 GT tires. Two questions: 1) each tire says cold pressure 42psi. Dealer say BMW recommends 42/rear and 36/front. Which is correct, tire manufacture or bike manufacture? 2) could not find max pressure on either tire. What is the max pressure for the P4 GT...

Tire pressure monitoring system, 2001 R1150GS

I just added a tire safegaurd to my to my r1150gs. Purchased via amazon for $189.00. The sensors screw onto the valve stems and lock on with an Alan wrench. The sensors have replaceable batteries. The display is rechargeable and has a backlight for night use. Setup was very simple...

TPM fail and filling the rear tire

Hello everyone. On my third BMW and my first BMW with Tire Pressure Monitoring. I have an '08 KGT, putting the bike at 4 years old and in line for a replacement of the TPM sensors due to dead batteries. I have the yellow "!" and the rear tire pressure shows intermittently. Question 1: The only...
