Oil filter

Maybe old age is getting to me but, I believe that many years ago,20 or 25 I saw somewhere someone had relocated the oil filter on an airhead and converted it to a spin on type. Don't know if bike had cooler or not. Anyone else.

Yes, such an arrangement was offered. I believe it was by Suburban Machinery. Purists will say it will look ugly and not needed in general. Another bad aspect to this (IMO) is the addition of another part of the oil pressurization system to fail and ruin an engine. An advantage might be for bikes with the RS/RT fairing where access is difficult.
