2005 R1200RT does not do self-check

Yesterday morning, I thought that my 2005 R1200RT did not do the self-check when I started it. This morning, I videoed it to see. This is a cold start after sitting overnight. There is no indication of any self-tests. Does this look expensive? Here is a link to the video on YouTube: http://youtu.be/pq-H1Ew4PEk

The kill switch needs to be in the run position before you turn the key. Otherwise the self check does not run.

Who says BMW's are expensive to fix?;)

Oh for crying out loud!

Oh My G.

This is true. Nothing in the owner's manual to imply that the MSF's FINE-C needs to be FEIN-C although it looks more German when I spell it that way.

Thanks, lkraus.
