2005 R1200RT does not do self-check

Yesterday morning, I thought that my 2005 R1200RT did not do the self-check when I started it. This morning, I videoed it to see. This is a cold start after sitting overnight. The kill switch needs to be in the run position before you turn the key. Otherwise the self check does not run.

Who says BMW's are expensive to fix?

This is true. Nothing in the owner's manual to imply that the MSF's FINE-C needs to be FEIN-C although it looks more German when I spell it that way.
