When MC sales peaked in 08 then began to tumble many of the industry pundits postulated there would be the expected failures as a result of the declining sales; then went on to argue there would be an echo effect at the brand/dealer levels suggesting as sales increased (and beyond) in the future there would realignment and or consolidation of brands/dealers to deal with the new business climate.
These may be examples of realignment to rationalize business models in the current market. It may be the result of a difficult but simple business decision. Each is a multi-brand/line dealer. Each product line yields sales and related expenses. The expenses may out way the potential profit from sales. Their agreements with Triumph may have come up for review and they decided to opt out rather than continuing.
If that is to MBA for you maybe, like many of us did, they grew out of Brit Bikes.

the same family that owned the bmw dealer years ago is the one that just gave up the trimuph dealership.
