Anyone riding through Amarillo Tx on way to BMW Rally in PA? I'd like to join up and have some company along the way. If you have some road room, let know an I'll join up with my GS. I hope to take my time up and back, three days min. both ways. My next task is to find a place to stay? camping or motels?

im in austin and am planning on riding up. my plan with time off that is available to me... is to leave on the 19th and come back by the 26th.

I have the 1200gs, black and I live near Ama College.... I hope to drive out of here on the 18th (may be the 19th) and return by the 26th... I plan on mostly camping, but a motel may sound good somewhere a long the way? I not even sure where I'll stay at the Rally? What's your plan?
as you see from my last reply, I may be leaving on the 18th, but still could change? If we did head that way, we may have to meet up in Ok, city? What's your plan with camping or motel-ling? Plus, where are you planning on staying at the rally? This is my first attempt on going to this rally, so everything is still being planned and layout? I don't plan on breaking any driving records, so this is no way an Iron butt drive for me....
