Kobe Leathers

Just wanted to let everybody know, last week I purchased a set of Kobe Leathers, the X-Pro model. I'm no expert as this is my first suit, but I was really happy with the construction.

Unfortunately, I got a chance to really try the suit out this weekend. I took a low-side tumble at the track. (Yes, this happened immediately after an experienced racer repeated the old tale regarding two types of riders, those who have crashed and those who will.)

Fortunately, I was very happy with how the suit performed. Not a scratch on me. The suit held up very well and has some minor scuffs, but less than expected.

Overall, the suit is awesome. This isn't the world's very best suit, but I think you'd have to spend twice as much to get a better fit and protection.

Pictures late next week, I'm finishing up my last term of college, took a weekend off to go racing and left the suit at home.
