indpendent BMW shops near Greenville/Spartanburg for Servo-ectomy

Greetings,

I just had a brake servo failure on my 2004 R1150GS Adventure, near Greenville/Spartanburg, SC. I am on an extended road trip (home base is Philadelphia) and looking for an independent shop that would be willing to do a Servo Bypass to get it back on the road.

If anyone can recommend a shop in the area, please PM or post to the thread.

thanks,

Hello Glowplug. Wondering how you made out with the servo-ectomy. I recently had a servo failure on my '03 K1200GT and I can't find any shop, BMW or independent, that is willing to do the servo removal for liability reasons. There are some Youtube videos that give a general idea of how it's done but they leave a lot questions unanswered. So just curious what you ended up doing.
