Somehow I am not surprised that I haven't seen it on the road in town here.

I wonder if his Porsche is for sale also

The original guy was in ND, I guess he sold it to someone in Portland... I think 9K was probably a big loss based on all the work it had done to it. I didn't like the original owner's (not builder) approach to the bike (it seemed like there were ulterior motives), but it really was well built, nothing was overlooked, and it was cool seeing it next to the Porsche. The builder Josh was on here for awhile, I wonder if he's still a member.

Both people still show as members. Shane, the ND poster hasn't been on the forum in over 2 years; the builder, Josh last visited here last summer.

At $9000 someone may get a heck of a deal. The build may have cost upward of $30,000. DAMHIK.

If I remember correctly the first guy built the blue bike. The second guy saw the blue bike and asked the first guy to build him a bike. I think they found a couple of bikes and used them to build the silver bike. The second guy never saw the first guy or his bike till it was finished. Something like this, kinda sorta. Really nice custom bikes. :thumb:)

They are both beautiful bikes. After seeing them, makes me think I got a bargain on my custom Beemer. Probably not quite as polished a look, but built similar to these. I love the combination of old and new together. Anyone have a photo of the silver one with the Porsche?
