    HID lights

I post this thread here under hexheads, since lights are different from model to model.
My Triumph Sprint was so bad riding at night, i just had to improve it! Purchased a set of HID's
and couldn't be happier!! Improved night vision at lest 3x. Now, my new to me RT has much better
lights. but was just wondering if anyone has tried the HID on their RT.
    Any input appreciated!

Only warning is availability of some vendors for replacement parts...lot of them are no longer in business

i have Dynamic Motorrad compactr HIDs on my 2013 RT....VERY compact and easy to install IF you take the headlight assy off of the bike, about 30 off and on again...

good warranty too...two years...they replaced the entire unit for a burnt bulb....!!!

I have the HID Xenon bulbs in my 2005 RT. Lighting is much better and I've had them installed for 3-1/2 years.

I don't need anything for the RT...... I'm happy

My Tiger 1050 was another story and DDM Tuning came to the rescue. Not sure if they have for the RT or not.

    Good luck!

It makes me sick! I quit many years ago,
and i see nothing funny about it!
I lost my father to smoking, and some
friends, one is on chemo right now.
    Thank You!

Am not sure about Tiger, same engine as the Sprint, but lights on the Sprint were worst
i have had on any bike, back 30 years! DDM was good for the 1 and half season i have them on for!
Same H7 is for the RT, am not sure i need them, though. OEM are not bad.

On the Tiger 1050 I would have been better off with Mag lights duct taped to the front. The DDM Tuning set up worked well for 4 years. The new owner took them off...not sure why.

Dogs are not meant to be funny, my friend! Am sorry about your sister, she will have the scars for life, and will never
like a dog! That is to bad, because, just like men, dogs are not all same! But most are like they are treated.
My German Shepherd, in picture, was 105lbs. All I can say is that i didn't need house alarm and never locked the doors.
If my avatar offends you, and you can point out why a powerful but obedient dog is more offensive than a 0ne year old
child smoking, i will remove it, just for you!
    Merry Christmas!

I installed Lumes Export thin ballast Canbus HID lights on my 2012 Camhead RT. I haven't had any issues since the install.

I just logged into their site. As I would like to improve the turn signal as well, thought i check that out.
$130 USD for set of four... That is a bit to much! Didn't even get to the HID kits!

I scored a set of 4 lightly used Dynamic Motorrad turn signal LED's from an ADVRider guy in Canada last week for $70. They are literally like "night and day" compared to the OEM bulbs. Keep your eyes open for a deal. You'll be pleased.

A few posts got off track from the original posting. Remember, we're taking about HID lighting here...let's keep things close to that please!! If you must, take it to the PM level for continued off-topic discussions.

    Thanks...
