Electronic cruise control for hex / cam head GS/GSA

Anybody fit an electronic cruise control like this one (or equivalent) to their GS/GSA?

Last month I picked up a low mile 2011 GSA that I really like but sorely miss the cruise control on my RT. Throttle holders just aren't the same. I fit one of these automobile cruise controls to my C10 Concours and it worked quite well. There were good directions on the web. I do all my own maintenance but fitting one of these on my own from scratch is a bit above my comfort level. These cruise controls have been fitted to Kawasaki, Yamaha and Hondas but I'm not aware of any on a BMW.

Anyone have any info/experience?
