I've been remiss in not hyping this event, a vintage campout put on for the last 16 years by Tom Weiss. It will be this coming weekend, Oct 1-2, at the south shore campground on Lake San Antonio, not far west of Paso Robles, CA. Look for us at the "H" Loop of the Lynch camp area. Cost is $20 for dinner and camping. For more info, contact Tom at:

Ok! The campout was this last weekend, and after I rode my R60/2 150 miles down to it, I continued on to the SoCal AMCA (Antique Motorcycle Club of America) chapter's Death Valley Run. The weather was great everywhere, and I had a good time on a mix of roads, including my 450 mile return on everything from I-5 to a little, unnumbered back road with no centerline. After 1400 miles in 5 days, I can say that riding the /2 is great cruising!

Check out a few photos here, at my web site.
