2013 F700GS Crash Bar Choices

Hello all. New to forum and twins but long time MOA guy. Recently acquired an F700 and want to add crash bars for a new rider. Any help with pros and cons from your experience would be helpful before I order the cheapest ones :). Fletch
 
I have the SW Motech on the F800GS and have been happy. Got them at Twisted Throttle at one of their open house dayze.

SW Motech bars from Twisted Throttle are what I have on my '14 F700GS. I saw complaints about the mounting instructions, but they are fine if you take time to sort the hardware and instructions. Nice fit and finish. Haven't crash tested them yet. :)
 
Same here, SW Motech bars on my bike, I installed them in about ten minutes. Denali running lights also mount well on them.
 
Thanks folks. I hadn't considered SW Motech. I've been using their tank bags for quite some time and been happy. The bars look nice. I'm pretty sure Twisted Throttle gives a military discount as well. I appreciate the advice. Need these asap.

Marty those Altrider's look nice. I see your from Annapolis. Do you ever stop by the Bean Rush Cafe in Crownsville on Sunday mornings? If you ever do I'd like to take a look at your bike. Fletch

Sure. I make it Bean Rush about once a month. Now that the weather is improving there are a lot more bikes there on Sunday mornings. Send me a PM. Fletch
 
Interesting thing with the SW Motech bars. Revzilla has a set for less money than the Twisted Throttle version. Both are SW Motech but they look different. Hard to tell from the photos which is better and worth the money. Fletch

Ah, when you put the item in the cart the checkout price is the same. A bit of bait and switch.
