What did ya get? The new RS?

I wish I did, but no, I have not bought anything else. I am down to one bike. I am where I need to be right now. The good news is the new owner lives 5 miles from me, loves the bike and is taking good care of her.

You sold the RS and now are riding a Honda Mini-Trail 70? Are you comfortable with the increased power over the RS? :laugh

PS Nice job keeping the trailer out of that picture. :D

When you're a connoisseur of fine motorcycles, an occasional "down period" is necessary until the proper machine comes along. If riding anything would do, then you wouldn't be considered someone that knows the finer aspects of life.......

Fixed to match my mood

If I don't take a day to ride southern Ohio before a buyer comes along, the red lightweight (with equally unconventional front suspension) will get more miles than the blue one this year.

Yup, that be me. I'm an x bicycle racer and still do about 400 miles a week through our mountains with our local club. Motorcycles have been with me for 50+ years and bicycles about 10 years longer than that. I can't remember any time in my life when I did not have a bicycle.

I don't have the legs or time for that kind of mileage. 10 miles of single track a couple days a week (usually after work) is as as much as I can pull off most of the time. Only riding the BMW for 600 miles this year is the key to my anticipated higher bicycle miles by years end.

Oops! Make that 400 miles a month, not a week.....yikes!

You and BC.....when are you two going to grow up and buy a real bikes; like a Hex Head, or a Cam Head, or a Wet Head? I mean really, you two are like four BMW generations behind. I know you both must want that new RS.

I'm too old, and too poor, to buy a new bike.

But will admit I'm rather drawn to...the new RS.

Perhaps I'll win the Lottery. :scratch

Actually I've heard rumors he's waiting for the new Honda Grom Scrambler to reach production....:dance

125 cc's of pure power!

The additional HP is fun and the engine is smooth but, if you've upgraded the suspension on your "S", I doubt that you'll be overwhelmed with the new RS (beyond the electronic doo-dads and gee-gahs). But, that's just my most humble of opinions.

I wouldn't mind a few more ponies, but not for cost of new bike payments. :)

Not much on electronical doo-dads either...

I am rather partial to the RS in blue/white livery, but in actuality the bike really doesn't fit my riding world all that well. Health and other circumstances inhibit long range riding, time constraints mean most of my rides are pretty short. All in all, the R-nine-T would be my current choice. Should I happen to win the Lottery. :D

Cheers! :drink

If you order the RS with the standard package, the RS and R9T are about the same price but the RS has more power. However, you have to order the RS to get that configuration.
