My vehicle type code is 0587 (Canada) and my motorcycle was produced on 22 May 2007 (from what I can tell on the BMW MOTORRAD MONTAGEAUFTRAG). When I access the DVD, I am supposed to select the construction status from the following:
1. Baseline construction status
2. Construction status, July 2006
BMW MOTORRAD INTEGRAL-ABS Generation II
3. Construction status August 2007
New maintenance concept
4. Construction status March 2008
changed position of teh oil drain plug in the rear-wheel drive
Are the above benchmarks starting points from which production of the motorcycle starts?
Can anyone tell me the major differences that applied during those specific time frames mentioned above?
