My 1991 K100RS with 2600 documented miles

Hi all.

Just picked up this 1991 K100RS. My first water cooled BMW and I am very impressed with it. I know I will struggle with whether to ride it and run up the mileage or preserve it as is.

A K75 is also a great bike for crossing continents. I've taken both of mine on multi-thousand-mile trips and had a wonderful time. BTW, very nice looking bike!

BMW hit a bases loaded home run with the K75S. The black Darth Vader scheme has a edgy look. Ride and enjoy. Your bike going to draw attention every where it goes.

K1200gt on the Skyway

Took the ol' Flying Brick out for a little fall ride on the Cherohala Skyway. Not often I get a picture of myself actually riding the bike.

I'm certain that I have most likely posted a pic of my '87 K in this thread sometime in the past but if so, here it is again. Two weeks ago I went to find the Guyitte house, which is to be torn down due to its' dangerous disrepair. Believe it or not, it is reputed to be the most photographed house in Canada. Unfortunately I respected the "No Trespassing" sign.

Paul, what a sweet bike you have! :clap

Thanks Greg!

Got it at the end of September 2004 at 121,000 km and now it sits at 283,000 km. It is a dependable and comfortable ride. :thumb

Unfortunately during the past three summers of COVID, neither of my bikes have had much riding time. :cry

Next year has to be better. :bow

K Love

Enjoying my 87 K75C & 91 K75S immensely. I’m the 2nd owner of both bikes, each having only 14k original miles but getting exercised weekly by me. Will be doing all the spline lubes, tires & brakes over the winter (Idaho) to get ready for spring rides.
