Camping near Rochester NY

I'm planning a trip from Elgin, IL to Norwich, VT to attend a bread making class at King Arthur Flour. I'm spending one night in Farmington Hills, MI and would like to spend the next night camping near Rochester NY. I'll be riding alone so I'm a little concerned about safety. Don't want to be in too much of a secluded spot. And, since its just a one night stop over, scenery isn't very important.

I appreciate any advice anyone can give.

I am 5 minutes off the I90 in Batavia, half way between Roch and Buffalo, tent space in a big pine tree lined side yard, or 82 acres of farm land, or we don't mind letting you use the unused inlaw apartment bedroom with your own bathroom.
