National ride to work day Monday

it's National Ride to Work Day and National Nature Photography Day. So if you've got nothing to do, go for a long ride and take lots of photos of nature. Unfortunately, I've got to work and take my six-year old to and from day care. That means taking the car and not the bike. :(

Rode to work today in the rain. Would have even if it wasn't RTW day.

Only saw a couple of bikes today. Seems there was a "threat" of rain, amounted to a 15 minute squall. Enough to keep 99% of bikers parked in the garage, I guess.

I couldn't ride to work since I am retired. However, I did ride to the Wellness center to exercise, rode to pick up breakfast and rode to the store.

I rode to someone else's work Monday morning, to the local dealer to have a new rear tire mounted on my bike. I don't ride to work because I am retired. I am working at home for SWMBO, my latest assignment painting the small bedroom...

Of course it counts!

Just because I'm no longer paid to live in Kansas doesn't mean I don't work. Just that now it's my choice what "work" I do.

Mostly :blush
