R1150rt Owners Needed

Im looking for a quick measurement, between the bottom of the fairing and the front fender on a bike with stock suspension.

My best guess is around 6 inches.

Thanks in advance for you help.

5.25" to the rub mark on my '04.
I can't recall the bump/dip that caused it. It was many miles ago.
It's has HyperPro shocks, though.

Thanks for the information.

I just had HyperPro Shocks installed. I had them lowered by 3/4 inch.

The bike really squats on the front end. The distance between the fairing and front fender is 3 1/2 inches with no load on the bike. If you stand back a couple of feet you can't see the black back part of the front fender.

There is about 3 1/2 inches of travel on the forks. So two up loaded if not carefully, I think the fairing and fender might rub. See attached picture.

Both kick stands need to be lowered.

I know the shocks are installed properly, I just wonder if the shocks were cut more then 3/4 of an inch.

I inquired where I purchased the shocks from and have not heard any think back yet. I don't know if the shocks are cut in the USA or The Netherlands.

Thanks again for help.

Shawn
