My wife and I have been riding Beemers since 2005. Our first bike was a 02 K1200 RS. We rode that until we hit deer at 70 mph. Neither the bike or the deer survived that. Our next bike was a 07 K1200 GT. We rode that bike for two years until I was side swipped going down the highway at 60 mph. Once again the bike did not survive but thanks to the Lord and the proper gear I did. Our last bike was a 2012 K1600 GT. We just traded that one in on our current bike, a 2014 K 1600 GTL. I've work full time as an aircraft mechanic for Southwest Airlines since 2001. Before that I was in the USAF, from 1981-2001 when we retired.

Thanks for your many years of USAF service! I still love my '02 K12RS with 157,000 miles on the odometer, no longer our primary ride. Welcome to the MOA and THANKS for being a member!!! Hope to see you down the rode and share some adventures.

Thanks for the welcome. I loved the RS. Much sportier than the GTL. I do hope to add a 1000RR to the stable. :brow
