We've been having some great discussions about the upcoming rally, but we want to make sure you ALL know that you're invited to enjoy "Rollin' by the River" and Visit St. Paul.

The 42nd BMW MOA International rally will be held July 24-27, 2014

Location: MINNESOTA STATE FAIRGROUNDS, St. Paul, MN
Registration Coordinates are: 44 degrees, 59’ 17.46" -93 degrees, 10’15.48”

Minnesota..best known as the Land of 10,000 Lakes, is also known for one Superior Lake and a Great River.

If you're joining us from any direction, the Lake Superior Circle Tour is a ride not to be missed or meander along the "Mighty Mississip" and join in the Rollin' by the Great River Road ride: http://forums.bmwmoa.org/showthread...EAT-RIVER-ROAD-to-the-MOA-RALLY-Join-the-Ride

The Minnesota State Fairground streets are all paved, and there's plenty of shade and grassy camping. As always we will have music, seminars, good food, plenty of vendors, and oh, yes....beer. St Paul is the home of Summit Brewery.

Deb and I can be contacted by emailing us at: rallychair2014@bmwmoa.org

For local information: http://www.visitsaintpaul.com/

For Minnesota information: http://www.exploreminnesota.com/

If you have any questions about the Rally, let's keep this thread going with questions and answers so we can have a central "campfire" thtribalcouncil.gif to share in the upcoming rally experience.

Rally info

Hopefully you've all received your February issue of the Owners News. Page 106 has an article from "Pineapple" regarding RV facilities.:thumb

Page 107 has a great article by member and Seminar Co-Chair, Norine McVann highlighting a Mississippi River Ride. :deal

You will also notice a preliminary map on pge 109. FYI: the dashed area is primary "rally Central", but there will also be camping available in the "yellow" area. This map was intended to designate the Vendor Entrance.

Our main Rally-Registration entrance will be to the North or from Larpeneur or Hoyt Ave. the GPS coordinates given in the first post are for the registration area.

The March issue of ON will have a list of committee chairs so you can volunteer to a shift, and an article about a great nearby attraction: Como Zoo/Conservatory. http://www.comozooconservatory.org/

Please check the website often for all additions regarding the rally. :dance

Is it July yet?? Better yet....is it Spring yet?

IBA - St Paul Rally SS1K

There will be an opportunity to ride an IBA Saddlesore in conjunction with the Rally. More details will follow. :thumb

Russell Saddles

I am wondering if anyone knows if Russell Saddles will be at the Great River Rally?

Rollin' Along!!

We've almost finalized our great line-up of entertainment. :dance:dance

You might want to be sure you're settled in by Thursday afternoon. We're having 2 Raptor Demonstrations from the world-reknowned MN Raptor Center. You can also tour their facility during the rally which is only 1.25 mile walk or 2.0 mile ride from Rally grounds. http://www.raptor.cvm.umn.edu/AboutUs/home.html

I actually was able to re-home one of these little guys thanks to their efforts

Seminars will be in the June issue of the Owners' News, and we will post preliminary schedules on-line asap.

Schedule is subject to change, and "final" listing with locations will be in the July issue and your
rally program.

This should help you plan your volunteer time!!
