Winter in the mid Atlantic state of Virginia, it's frequently above freezing during the day and below freezing in the early morning when I have to go to work.
Bike sits outside at work, then sits in an un-heated garage at night. With the rain then cold, have had ignition, gas, and saddle bag locks freeze up.
When rain is forecasted (and I remember), I put a 2" ID mailing tube cap over the ignition when parked outside.
Other morning, had a frozen ignition. With a syringe, injected isopropyl alcohol and worked it a few times. It freed up and rode to work.
Any other tips or tricks to keep water out of the locks?
Thanks in advance.
