This month in the Best of Forum series, it's a thread on the overhaul of an Airhead. Kurt (20774), our forum Admin, decided to jump into a top end rebuild on one of his Airheads last fall and has done a fine job of documenting it. Kurt takes us through the overhaul in a "thinking out loud" story line that gives the reader a good representation of how someone that is mechanically skilled, but doesn't do it everyday gets a job like this done- with pictures.
As the colder weather sets in, it seems that some of the members are thinking about a "major" service on their bike- this is a good outline to follow.
Enjoy, Gary
