Tire Valve LED's

In looking for a Chinese bicycle tail light on ebay I'm seeing these LED tire valve lights that I thought might add some safety to my bicycle & a treat for grandkids bikes too. They come on when wheel revolves. 99cents & up/various "neon like colors"
Question is: has anyone tried them on a MC for night safety/visibility reasons? They are plastic so maybe not so hvy but I still wonder how many grams of weight they throw around?

Grrrrrr

I had some on my TW200 until I had a very intense conversation with a police officer who let me know that they were illegal as they are "distracting lights". I couldn't tell because when I tried to look while riding I would nearly run off the road. The batteries ran out pretty fast also. Since I wasn't traveling over 60 MPH I didn't notice any balance issues.
