Rode to Gettysburg, PA from Toledo, Ohio

Took the Ohio and PA turn pikes until I got just east of Pittsburgh. Took US Rt 30 the rest of the way to Gettysburg. What a great scenic route to take. Great mountain roads, some fun twisties and nice state parks and forests. There was alot of small towns on the way, but it was worth it. Stopped by the Flight 93 Memorial on the way.

It is a nice route. There is a great Inn on Rte 30, close to the Breezewood turnpike exit. And Rte 30 is nice already in Ohio, once it turns into a 2-lane highway again, east of Akron.

I don't recall the inn, but my favorte place on 30 was "Lindsay's Gentleman's Club and Adult Toy Store".

I lived in Toledo on the Lake my whole life..Until I decided to go to the graveyard in Florida..lol
