Passenger Seat Backrest Ideas for a 2005 R1200RT

Ditto...

I've been looking to (but for a 2012), the wife will occasionally ride if there is a backrest. Just not enough to make a large investment.

Just for the sake of response, when I purchased my bike (used) it came with a rear hard shell case that attaches to the luggage rack. It is a third party case (can't think of the name) but it has a padded area for the passenger to lean back against. I rarely use it (only once a few years ago) so having trouble thinking of the brand. I'll check when I get home and post it.

Just thought of it (edited post) - it is a GIVI case.

Not real crazy about the look of Give. I have seen them. I sent a note to the guys at Tourtech. They unfortunately don't make a case specifically for the RT. Thanks anyway.

Check out "Pirates Lair". They have a stealth backrest for most BMW's. I bought one for my GS. Looks great, works great.
