Usal Road - The Lost Coast

Never in a million years did I think I'd be on Usal Road with my 16 year old nephew on the back of my bike, but there we were, on the way back from Crater Lake... coming down Hwy 1 and thought we'd check it out. Spectacular views. Rode to Usal Beach and then spent a little time there before heading back to Hwy 1 and onto Fort Bragg, where we were staying for the night. I really want to do some more exploring and maybe go all the way to Shelter Cove... Not 2-up, however.. ;-)

Quite a coincidence. We rode that route last month. We spent a couple of nights at the Benbow Inn at Garberville. Lots to see out that way and would like to do it again. I liked the little town of Honeydew. here are a couple of pictures.
