Luftmeister Fairing part needed

Nick Kennedy
Hi Gang
I've got a 1978 R80/7 with a full Luftmeister fairing on it.
I've been picking away slowly buffing this bike out and the one thing I am missing is the Orange Lens on the side of the fairing. It is the one with a running light in it, not a reflector.
Can anyone please help me out?
Thanks in advance
Nick Kennedy

Hey Nick. Vetter used Peterson products on Windjammers; both a simple reflector, or the illuminated version. Luftmeister used the same light.

You can get a similar lamp here -> http://www.saber-cycle.com/store/product263.html or probably order "the real deal" from NAPA, etc. They can be found on eBay frequently as well.

Bummer.

I literally threw both of mine away last week. I had done some body work on my fairing and I don't like those reflectors.

Also check RE-Psychle (sp?) in Lithonia OH (just outside Columbus, OH) because the last time I was down there, they had dozens of those fairings sitting out back in the weather!

Not to be correcting ,..but it's Lithopolis ,Oh. And yes they are indeed a good source for anything BMW.

I've got a Luftmeister I can't give away out in the pole barn. I'll try to remember to check it tomorrow.

Please, no buying/selling/giving/etc on the forum. Use PMs if you want to work something out.

Thanks! :thumb
