What would I do with 700 million dollars worth of BMW motorcycles? My garage struggles to hold two.

I would hope you would buy a really nice UH1 and make a quick trip to Dillon AERO, after picking me up of course .

I think you would learn to fly a jet instead of those flip wing zippos.

Jets... Um, yes but only two, one they don't make any more, an F-4 phantom but that would only be my second choice. A-10 warthog. My jet of choice. I would paint a BMW roundel on the side, and of course I would have enough money that BMW couldn't sue me for copyright infringement.

I rarely participate in lotteries, but I did buy some tickets for this one. Kinda depressing to think that I'll only get a bit over $400 million after taxes.

After winning millions, this guy handled his good fortune in a special sort of way. Taking over $500,000 to a strip club, and telling a stripper that the money is in your Hummer... what could possibly go wrong???? And that is just one of his sad stories.

It doesn't take a lottery winner to screw-up a fortune........Look at sports figures
If anyone wins and has regrets on winning, PM me- I'll help you through it.

Headed for 1.3 Billion. It would be nice to see it split 10 or 20 ways

Scientific American reports that for $600 million you could buy tickets with every possible combination, i.e. you'd win.

$600 million to win $1.3 billion is a pretty good return on investment ... the rich can get richer.

Report I heard was that it would take 9 years to print all those tickets

It has been done. The group involved did not succeed in buying every possible combination due to a series of glitches, but they won. They were featured on 60 Minutes I believe. The amounts spent and won were far below $600 million.

If you are going to try it, be aware that the rules have changed. It used to be around 1 in 172 million. Now it's around 1 in 292 million. If you have a co-winner, it probably won't work out for you.
