Best place to camp near Seneca Rocks?

Never stayed there but Smoke Hole is just a few miles East of SR, (great road into the area BTW), it is a state forest and has camping.

I'm originally from that general area and my favorite place to stay is Seneca Shadows when I go climbing up there. If you go north of the 33/28 intersection just a little ways on 28 there is a swimming hole on the right that the locals frequent...the guys at the general store there can give you directions (plus decent pizza!).

Make sure if you head out of Seneca east on 33 that you stop about 3/4 of the way up North Mountain at the turnout...the view of Germany Valley from there is amazing.

I've stayed at Seneca Shadows, the one just north of the rocks and the 28/33 intersection. It is a nice campground, nothing spectacular, but decent and private sites, wooded, clean bathrooms and near some seriously great riding.

Yokums

I always camp at Yokums. Its a nice grassy campground with shade along the river. Showers are not that great. Food and beer within walking distance. I was just there last weekend for the Festival of Fives, /5s that is. Camping was $14 a night.
