    1993 R100RS Generator Light On

OK, apart from the obvious- the generator may be/probably is going awry...
Anything else I need to know?
    Or do?
    Upgrade potential at all here?

    Thanks guys!

You should go through the usual trouble shooting steps. Snowbum discusses "all" of them here:

The other thing that you should consider doing is getting the booklet by Rick Jones at Motorrad Elektrik that provides all the steps for charging system troubleshooting:

First thing to check is the resistance across the rotor slip rings. Usually that's what's gone wrong. Something to also consider is finding all your electrical connections on the charging circuit and cleaning and protecting them. Could you be you have some corrosion build up on the terminals.
