I replaced my rear main seal about 2000 miles ago. I still have a leak and I wonder what experience others have had.
I have a 1993 R100RT with 58000 miles.
Thanks,

Did you replace the oil pump cover O-ring also, and are you using synthetic oil? Mobil -1 caused mine to leak so I went back to dino.

Seal Leak

I replaced oil pump seal and I use BMW 20w50 dino oil. I fear I have a tear down ahead of me.
