Congrats! That's very impressive.

My 2009 that I have owned since Feb 2010 just turned over 26,800. All I have experienced was a faulty "neutral position switch," replaced under warranty. The rest has been routine maintenance at the prescribed intervals. I have replaced the tires at every 8,000 miles, but that is because I am wary of tire failure. I also replaced the battery at the two year mark on my own initiative because I had a trip planned and did not want to be concerned about it. My original fuel strip is still intact.
This bike has been a joy to own and ride! I have traveled to the Johnson City, Bloomsburg and Sedalia rallies on it, as well as several trips to West Virginia, the Blue Ridge mountains and a trip to Florida to watch Spring Training baseball.
Those who have never ridden the R1200R don't know what a fantastic bike this is.
Glad ya like your R. I've owned many bikes and my R, that I have only had about 6 months, sure appears to be a keeper.
At 71,000 miles -
7 fuel strips (including the original)
2 O2 sensors
Other then that, just normal obsessive maintenance. And a lot of gas and tires.
