Just came back from a test ride R1200GS

HOLY.......CRAP that is the BEST ride I have been on all of the bikes I have owned or ridden. The 2012 R1200GS is phenomenal. I currently own a 2005 Suzuki M50 and 1986 BMW R80. The airhead is an awesome bike as well, but would trade in with a quickness. Unfortunately the price/payment for the GS is out of my reach. I might have to start a donation site to get this bike. Im currently stationed in Germany so I would be able to get a US Spec GS around $2000 less than the states but still out of reach. I admire all owners of the GS and one day I might be able to join the ranks. Just thought I would share.

Agreed... BMW has hit one out of the park with this bike.

And after a 2400+ mile ride from LA to ATL, with minimal expressway, this thing is a true mile eater. The only niggles are a wimpy seat and a very tight peg/seat distance.
