Anyone reduce the stock Del inlets by using a welded bead on the furthest inside edge, just before the head intake runner? Got a couple laying around, might give it a try, might speed up the mix like the tapered aluminum types, but cause more mixing? Any fluid dynamics experts in the crowd? Have always had problems properly sealing the aluminum intakes to the head without making them next impossible to remove. A bead would simply choke down the final inlet to about 34mm. Just wondering if anyone has done something like this?
