Wiring a Main Fuse in an Early /5

bprivett

Novice Airhead
Hey everyone,

I'm currently reworking the wiring in a '71 /5, which has no main fuse. I'd like to wire one in per the later models, but am having trouble figuring out the best way to do it and what amperage I need.

Anyone do this willing to offer advice?

Thanks!

Edit: Found my answer here: http://bmwmotorcycletech.info/electricalhints.htm , I swear I looked first but must've missed it.
