R850R tachometer installation

Does anyone know how to install the tachometer clock combo unit on an R850R. Is it simply a plug and go or is there more to it. Thanks

I installed the individual clock and tach on my 95 R1100R several years ago. I had to remove the gas tank to reveal the connections, then it is plug and play; very easily done.

Tach install

I have an 850 with an aftermarket tach that was on the bike when I got it. I can check that installation if you would like me to.
