When you say GS are you referring to...

I don't presume to speak for everyone, but I include anything BMW makes that has the GS or g/s designation. They're all conceived with "gelande-strasse" in mind, and all worthy of the title. :thumb

GS would include all bikes of that designation. Otherwise you need to identify which line and model if you want to narrow it down.
 
Who are you asking and in what context?

The GS Giants refer to all GS's as well as anyone interested in getting off the beaten path.
