I need help with my 1980 r65 which my son left me when he moved out. It is a beauty. Where do I go to find a mechanic to work on the tranny...it is stuck in gear......thanks..

Welcome.

Your question about someone to work on the trany might get a better response if posted in the "Airheads" section of the Forum. That said, if you have the skill/ability to take the trany out you could send it to Tom Cutter at Rubber Chicken Racing Garage (Google it) for repair.
