Optimate 4 Charger

I bought a Optimate 4 charger when I had my 2007 R1200RT. Is there any reason I can't use it on my 2009 R1200RT?

Thought I'd check before I plug it in. I've seldom had to use a charger because I ride quite often.

Thanks for the help.

No reason why it shouldn't work. I use mine on my 2012 RT with no issue. However, it does not seem to work very well in Canbus mode, via BMW's outlet. So I use it in standard mode, connected directly to battery, and it's okay. It's been connected since the beginning of December, when I put my bike away for winter. And it keeps showing the two okay green lights, with the occasional flashing right green indicating a check status.
