Here is a photo of a bracket that fell of my 1992 R100R and I can't find where it came from. It is 7-7/8" long, 5/8" wide and the two cutouts are 9/16". The middle of the bracket has a threaded nut tacked on it. Any ideas where this goes?

Looks like a cable/wire bracket. Did you check the ignition cable routing?

Edit:

sorry, i was wrong. It is a bracket under the oil cooler trim panel. Shown as No 11 in this parts diagram!
