Sad news today from the East Coast

Bud

It is what it is.
Keep the families in your thoughts and prayers as they cope with the murder of their children.

Amen, Bud. As a retired school teacher this kind of tragedy hits hard. My heart goes out to those parents who lost a child and to all the kids who had to witness the event.

I just saw this on our news. This horrific atrocity will have a personal impact on hundreds of people directly. It is difficult to comprehend. A very large sadness.

That demented soul with over a hundred rounds aimed at innocence. - Bob

So sad and heartbreaking.

I had the news on all day (I work at home). I called my daughter about noon and had her give my twin 5 yr old grandsons a special hug for me. I was really choked up. My thoughts are with the families of those involved.:heart

I'm a teacher on active duty. I heard some of it yesterday afternoon at lunch. Too much else going on to do more than pray for the families then.

I tried to read a news article to my wife over breakfast and couldn't get very far without choking up.

Perhaps the Israeli's have something: any time their kids are in groups, they have armed escorts and guards at the schools.

I just cannot comprehend shooting children. To take anothers life thru carelessness or stupidity is bad enough but to deliberately kill children and those trying to protect them leaves me at a loss for words. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims.
