Power Consumption Data (Electric)

Tested today.
Cold bike for 4 days, batt @ 12.99
Ign on, 12.30
Start, 10.50
Fast idle, 14.10
Slow idle, 13.90
Hbeam & PIAAs 13.80
(bike still cold but running)
At speed,13.80-13.75 for 20 min
Ride finished, eng off, ign on, 13.44

Gained 1/2 volt on batt

So, what about the 10.50v when cranking, problem coming soon?

The voltage HAS to drop somewhat during the actual cranking; the battery is being sucked hard. 10.5 sounds OK during the crank; it's how it recovers that matters - how long does it take to return to 13+ volts and does it stay there.

(LOVE that TwinSig avatar!)

Ok good, voltage goes right back to 13.+...

sigsauer, another german engineering marvel, but all that stuff belongs in a different forum huh...
