Pulstar Plugs?

From some respected people on the Airheads email list, these seem to be just more snake oil.

They claim to be using a capacitor to accomplish what others have accomplished with a simple air gap in the plug or plug cap. This forces the voltage to build to a certain level before the spark jumps the gap and gets to the plug electrodes. BMW did this OEM on the plug wire caps for the K75.

Elecrically it makes sense, but capacitors can fail a lot quicker than an air gap. Anybody who ever had condenser problems on a points equipped motorcycle can appreciate how finicky capacitors can be.

If I had these plugs, I would carry spares.
