Have you checked the Walmart cover? I think it's big enough to cover the top case - but if not, take it back.

XXL for large tourers is $29.99.
I was skeptical at those low prices but I went ahead and got one for my 2012 RT. Was pleasantly surprised at the nice quality fabric and finishing.
Cheap enough to let the desert sun kill it, then get a different one if you don't like it. Probably should get some kind of light reflective colors though. I think I got a discounted price by ordering a less popular color combination.

Now that's a very nice cover. I have a cheapie that I got online that works pretty well so I'll keep what I have. But isn't it amazing how we'll spend $20,000 plus for a motorcycle then balk at spending a few extra dollars for accessories?

Just because we're poor after spending $30.000 on a motorcycle doesn't mean we need to hire children in China to make the Wal-Mart covers for our $30,000 motorcycles.

All "universal" means is doesn't fit anything well.
Get a cover made for YOUR bike.
